The Killing Joke

One of the most famous storylines featuring the Joker is “The Killing Joke”, which was adapted into a video game of the same name. In the end, it is left ambiguous as to whether or not Batman kills the Joker.

Arkham Series

In the popular Arkham series of games, which includes “Arkham Asylum”, “Arkham City”, and “Arkham Knight”, the Joker plays a major role as Batman’s arch-nemesis. However, in “Arkham City”, it appears that he dies from a fatal illness known as Titan Poisoning. Despite this, he still appears as a hallucination throughout “Arkham Knight”.

Injustice Series

The Injustice series of games takes place in an alternate universe where Superman becomes a tyrant after being tricked by the Joker into killing Lois Lane and their unborn child. The Joker himself does not appear as a playable character in these games, but his actions have significant consequences for many characters.
