Was Lou Ferrigno in Any Marvel Movies?

If you’re a fan of Marvel movies, you may have wondered if Lou Ferrigno, the star of the Incredible Hulk TV series in the 70s and 80s, ever appeared in any Marvel movies. The answer is yes, he has!

The Incredible Hulk (2008)

In the 2008 film “The Incredible Hulk,” Lou Ferrigno made a cameo appearance as a security guard who confronts Bruce Banner (played by Edward Norton) during his escape from Culver University. Ferrigno also lent his voice to the role of the Hulk, which was created through motion capture technology.

The Avengers (2012)

Ferrigno didn’t physically appear in “The Avengers,” but he did provide the voice for the Hulk once again. This time, Mark Ruffalo played Bruce Banner and transformed into the Hulk during a fierce battle with Thor.

Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)

In “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” Ferrigno again provided the voice for the Hulk during an intense battle scene between him and Iron Man’s Hulkbuster suit.

Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018)

While not a Marvel movie per se, “Ralph Breaks the Internet” features an appearance by Ferrigno as himself. He is part of an online support group for internet trolls and helps Ralph and Vanellope overcome their own insecurities.

Final Thoughts

While Lou Ferrigno may not have had any major roles in any Marvel movies beyond “The Incredible Hulk” TV series, his appearances as a security guard and as the voice of the Hulk added a nice touch of nostalgia for fans of the original show. And his cameo in “Ralph Breaks the Internet” showed that he still has plenty of star power, even decades after his initial success.
