If you’re a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), you’re probably familiar with Darcy Lewis, the witty and sarcastic political science major who becomes Jane Foster’s intern in the first Thor movie. But did you know that Darcy has appeared in multiple MCU films? Let’s take a closer look at which Marvel movies Darcy Lewis is in.
As mentioned, Darcy first appears in Thor, where she is played by Kat Dennings. In the film, she becomes Jane Foster’s intern and helps her research the cosmic event that brings Thor to Earth.
Darcy serves as comic relief in the movie, providing some much-needed levity during some of the more serious scenes. She also helps Thor understand Earth culture, introducing him to things like Pop Tarts and Facebook.
Thor: The Dark World (2013)
Darcy returns in Thor: The Dark World, once again serving as Jane Foster’s intern. This time around, she has a bit more to do in terms of the plot.
She discovers an anomaly while interning at an astrophysics lab and alerts Jane to it. The anomaly turns out to be a portal to a dark dimension, which allows Malekith and his army to invade Earth. Darcy also gets involved with Ian Boothby, an intern who develops a crush on her.
Darcy makes her most recent MCU appearance in WandaVision, Disney+’s hit series about Wanda Maximoff and Vision. In the show, Darcy is now a doctor of astrophysics and is recruited by S.W.O.R.D.
to help them investigate the strange energy field surrounding Westview. She quickly becomes enamored with WandaVision’s sitcom reality and works with Vision to uncover the truth.
So, there you have it – Darcy Lewis has appeared in three Marvel movies to date: Thor, Thor: The Dark World, and WandaVision. While she may not be a superhero herself, Darcy provides some much-needed humor and heart to the MCU. We can’t wait to see where her character goes next!
